Utah Concealed Firearms Permit |
|
This course assumes you already have some handgun experience. This is a four hour course that briefly reviews the topics covered in the NRA Basic Pistol Course and then builds on that by covering laws and practices specifically relating to concealed carry. A basic course like the NRA Basic Pistol class will give you a more solid footing if you do not already have firearm experience, but is not required.

We show how to integrate common-sense safety strategies into your own individual lifestyle. The seminar is not about guns, nor is it about joining the NRA. It simply provides participants with the information needed to minimize their chances of criminal attack. Read more about the course here. |

NRA Basic Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun Courses |
|
If you are new to the world of firearms, or if you have never had any formal firearm training, one of these courses is right for you. The courses range from 10 to 14 hours that are pretty evenly divided between classroom instruction and practice at the range. The course outlines cover basic safety rules, firearm design and function, the basics of aiming and shooting, and much more. The courses can be taught in a one day session or split into multiple sessions. |

The training certifications that we hold also meet the BSA's requirements for teaching the Rifle and Shotgun merit badge classes. We have Eagle Scouts on staff dedicated to helping Boy Scouts whenever and wherever we can. If you need help with a merit badge class we want to do everything we can to help. |
